The Wednesday Word helps to share and explain the Sunday Gospel with families through our primary school, supporting and strengthening the partnership between Home, School and Parish. Each week, it provides a child‑friendly reflection on the Gospel, along with discussion ideas and activities that families can enjoy together.
To make this support as accessible as possible, copies of The Wednesday Word are available on our school website. This allows families to access them easily at home and use them as a starting point for talking together about faith, values and the Gospel message. We hope this encourages shared prayer, meaningful conversations, and a deeper connection between what children learn in school, celebrate in church, and live out at home.
