Year 6 Transition
Throughout the transition from Primary to Secondary school, the community of St Michael’s will be here to support you every step of the way. Our dedicated team of staff provides a wide range of opportunities to help you continue your academic, personal and spiritual development, while also building strong, lasting relationships that will help you grow in confidence.
Our transition programme begins in Year 5, giving pupils the chance to experience life at St Michael’s through a variety of engaging activities such as cooking, DT, PE, music and much more. In addition, St Joseph’s after school enrichment clubs offer further opportunities for children in Year 4, 5 and 6 to attend clubs such as trampolining, art, music, sports, all held at St Michael’s.
The formal Year 6 transition days in July will help you become familiar with our welcoming classrooms, caring teachers and supportive staff. We look forward to guiding you as you take the next steps in your educational journey.
