You have entered the realm of Phase 2 where we are looking forward to helping you reach your full potential as you head towards your final years in Primary. In a safe and nurturing environment, we strive to help you become the best you can be. The pace of work increases but you will be given strategies and support so you can reach the targets set for you.
In our classroom, our children will feel that their thoughts and opinions are valued. The children’s well-being is vital to their educational development, and we use an open dialogue between home and school to reinforce this.
Now is the time to crack your times tables knowledge ready for the Y4 Multiplication Test in the Summer Term. Using TTRockstars at home is a terrific way to enhance your tables knowledge. Of equal importance is the need to read at home. Reading opens up whole new worlds and leads us down endless paths of possibilities!
PE will take place on a Monday and a Thursday; this means we need to wear our full PE tracksuit. Homework is set every Tuesday on Seesaw and must be completed by the following Monday. This will include spellings, reading and times tables. The weekly Spelling Test is on a Friday and the half termly spelling overview can be accessed on our Class Page and Seesaw.
Showing a positive or caring attitude, hard work or teamwork are some of the many ways that you can gain recognition for your efforts in our weekly Golden Certificates and through our Dojo Points. This is a chance for us to celebrate each other and our successes. Mrs Linley loves giving out Superstar dojos when you level up on Reading Plus! At the end of every term, we will also have a Shining Light and a Most Improved Hand Writer.
