Well Being Lead and Family Support
Hello, I’m Sarah Harrison, your Well-Being Lead and Parent Support Advisor. Alongside being a trained Mental Health First Aider and a qualified Emotional Literacy Support Assistant, I also serve as the school’s Deputy Safeguarding Lead and our Attachment Lead specialist. My background allows me to support children and families with a deep understanding of emotional development, safety, and the importance of secure, trusting relationships.
I work in school three days a week, and my role is dedicated to supporting you and your family. I offer a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly about anything that may be affecting your child’s wellbeing, behaviour, confidence, or learning. No concern is ever too small — sometimes the smallest worries are the ones that make the biggest difference when shared.
Whether you’re navigating challenges at home, seeking guidance on accessing additional services, or simply need someone to listen, I’m here to help. I work closely with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure every child feels safe, understood, and empowered to thrive both emotionally and academically.
If you would like support, advice, or just a conversation, please feel welcome to contact me on 07483950012 or via wellbeing@stjosephsbillingham.bhcet.org.uk— I’m always happy to hear from you.
