Sensational Salads! Year 2 Get Creative in DT
Year 2 pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham have been busy developing their food preparation skills through a fun and engaging Design and Technology project. The children began their learning by tasting a variety of fruits and vegetables. This gave them the opportunity to explore different flavours, textures and colours, helping them to decide which ingredients they might enjoy using in their own creations.
Year 5 Visit SUEZ Recycling and Recovery Centre
Year 5 pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham recently enjoyed an educational visit to the SUEZ Recycling and Recovery Centre. During the visit, pupils took part in a fascinating tour of the facility, where they learned how waste is processed and transformed into renewable energy. The experience gave them a clear insight into the journey of waste after it leaves our homes.
Space Explorers: A Stellar Day at Wynyard Woodland Park
Our Reception class at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham had an out‑of‑this‑world adventure during their exciting visit to Wynyard Woodland Park. NF Day: Learning, Awareness and Community Support
We came together as a school to mark NF Day, celebrating our wonderful pupil Evie and raising awareness of Neurofibromatosis (NF) by turning our school blue and green.
