Using fresh ingredients, the children carefully chopped, prepared and cooked a delicious curry completely from scratch.

St Joseph’s Celebrates Fantastic Sports Day
Pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day filled with energy, excitement and plenty of memorable moments. From running, racing and jumping to relays and obstacle courses, every child gave their very best throughout the afternoon. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to showcase their skills, challenge themselves and enjoy taking part in a range of sporting activities.
Year 5 Enjoy Fantastic Taster Day at St Michael’s Catholic Academy
Year 5 pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham had a brilliant day at a taster event hosted by St Michael’s Catholic Academy. The children enjoyed a wide range of activities during their visit, including baking cookies, taking part in sports sessions, carrying out science experiments and meeting many of the academy’s staff members.
Year 4 Enjoy Inspiring STEM Day at Middlesbrough College
Year 4 pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham had a fantastic time attending a STEM Day at Middlesbrough College. Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of engaging workshops, including engineering, film making, sport and fitness, and aerodynamics.
Carlton Residential Brings Adventure and Teamwork to Life
Pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham have been making the most of their Carlton residential, enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities while building confidence and teamwork skills. Children have taken part in an exciting programme of activities, including gulley walking, shelter building, climbing wall challenges and high ropes.
Year 5 Pupils Inspired at Billingham STEM Festival
Year 5 pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham recently attended a STEM Festival at St Cuthbert’s Church, celebrating 100 years since the opening of ICI. The festival explored Billingham’s rich industrial history alongside the engineering and innovation shaping the future
Year 4 Visit to Seven Stories
Year 4 pupils had a fantastic visit to Seven Stories, where they explored storytelling in an exciting and interactive way. Activities included: Hunting for and identifying dragons in legends Acting out scenes from The Lambton Worm Taking part in engaging drama workshops
Year 1 Stay & Pray
It was a pleasure to welcome families into school for a special Year 1 Stay & Pray session. Together, pupils and their families reflected on the school mission: “Love at the heart of all we do.”
Drowning Prevention Week
As part of Drowning Prevention Week, Tees Active delivered important workshops for Key Stage 2 pupils. The sessions focused on: Staying safe around open water, recognising potential dangers and knowing what to do in an emergency

Sensational Salads! Year 2 Get Creative in DT
Year 2 pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham have been busy developing their food preparation skills through a fun and engaging Design and Technology project. The children began their learning by tasting a variety of fruits and vegetables. This gave them the opportunity to explore different flavours, textures and colours, helping them to decide which ingredients they might enjoy using in their own creations.
