Blessed Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) was an Italian teenager who loved God, computers and helping others. From a young age, Carlo had a deep love for Jesus, especially in the Eucharist, which he called “my motorway to heaven.” He used his computer skills to create a website about Eucharistic miracles around the world, showing how modern technology can be used to share faith and goodness. Carlo lived an ordinary life, going to school and enjoying hobbies, but he tried to do everything with love and kindness. He died aged 15, and his example has inspired young people across the world to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. He is often known as the patron of the internet and young people. His feast day is on 12 October.
Dear Lord Jesus, help me to use my gifts and talents to do good and to show Your love to others in my everyday life.
