Year 3

"Do small things with great love."
Feast Day: October 1st
St. Thérèse of Lisieux (1873 - 1897) was a French girl who wanted to become a nun at a young age, inspired by her sisters who were nuns. She joined the Carmelites at 15, living a quiet cloistered life. After her death at 24, her memoirs were published. She wrote that we serve God not only in great works but also in small things. Her teachings have inspired many people for generations. She is the patron saint of missionaries. Her feast day is on 1 October.

Dear Lord Jesus, Show me that I can serve You in the little ways of my life and not always in big things.
Amen.
