St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Billingham is celebrating the success of its newly appointed Sports Leaders after they completed their initial training with the Stockton Schools Sports Partnership.
The pupils represented the school exceptionally well, demonstrating the qualities needed to become positive role models for their peers.
Developing Leadership Through Sport
During the training session, the Sports Leaders took part in a range of activities designed to build their leadership skills and prepare them for their important roles within school.
Throughout the session, the pupils showed excellent teamwork, enthusiasm and confidence, embracing every challenge with a positive attitude.
Setting an Example for Others
Staff were delighted with the way the Sports Leaders conducted themselves, praising their commitment and willingness to support others.
The training highlighted the pupils' potential to become strong leaders who can encourage participation, teamwork and enjoyment through sport across the school community.
Looking Forward to Exciting Opportunities
Having successfully completed their initial training, the Sports Leaders are now looking forward to putting their new skills into practice.
They will play an important role in helping to deliver sporting activities and encouraging their fellow pupils to get involved in physical activity throughout the school year.
