Pupils at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Billingham are making the most of the school's wonderful new outdoor playgrounds, enjoying the exciting opportunities they provide for play, learning and friendship.

The new spaces have quickly become a popular part of the school day, giving children even more opportunities to be active and social outdoors.

Making the Most of New Facilities

Staff have loved seeing children exploring and enjoying the new playground areas, using the spaces responsibly and making full use of the opportunities available to them.

The playgrounds are already having a positive impact on breaktimes, encouraging active play and helping children develop friendships across the school.

Taking Pride in Their Environment

One particularly heartwarming moment saw a group of pupils working together to help care for their surroundings by sweeping up wood chip from the playground.

The children showed a wonderful sense of responsibility and pride in their school environment, demonstrating that looking after shared spaces is everyone's responsibility.

Teamwork in Action

The pupils worked collaboratively, helping one another and showing excellent teamwork throughout the task.
