At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham, our Reception and Year 3 children enjoyed a wonderful start to their Forest School adventures. The outdoor environment was the perfect setting for teamwork, creativity, and new learning experiences.

Hands‑On Learning and Friendship Building

Working with a partner, the children created beautiful friendship bracelets, strengthening bonds and celebrating cooperation. They also had the exciting opportunity to learn how to create a spark using a flint - a skill that encouraged resilience, focus, and safe risk‑taking.

Teamwork at Its Best

Throughout the activities, the children supported, encouraged, and motivated one another. Their enthusiasm and positive attitudes made the day a memorable success.

We are incredibly proud of our Reception and Year 3 pupils for embracing their Forest School journey with such confidence and joy.

Well done everyone - you were amazing!
