Pupils and staff at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham began an exciting new chapter on Monday 5th January, as they moved into their brand new school building. After a long wait, the children were thrilled to arrive in their new learning environment, with excitement filling the school as pupils explored their new classrooms and facilities. The move marks an important milestone for the whole school community.

Bridge-Building Challenge with Sir Robert McAlpine – Inspiring Future Engineers at St. Joseph’s Billingham
As part of our careers education programme, pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Billingham took part in an exciting bridge-building challenge, thanks to the incredible education team at Sir Robert McAlpine. This hands-on activity gave our pupils the chance to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in a practical and engaging way. Working collaboratively towards a shared goal, the children applied their engineering skills to design and construct a bridge together.
