Year 2 pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham have been busy developing their food preparation skills through a fun and engaging Design and Technology project. The children began their learning by tasting a variety of fruits and vegetables. This gave them the opportunity to explore different flavours, textures and colours, helping them to decide which ingredients they might enjoy using in their own creations.

Year 1 pupils at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham have had a wonderfully busy and exciting start to the new term, filled with curiosity, creativity, and outdoor learning. As part of their learning in science, the children have been deepening their understanding of the four seasons, with a particular focus on winter. With the season well and truly upon us, it was the perfect opportunity to explore how the weather changes and how winter can be spotted all around us.
